liionpack
The lithium-ion battery pack simulator powered by PyBaMM.
A battery-pack simulation tool that extends PyBaMM cell models to series-parallel packs and netlist-defined electrical topologies.
About the Project
Why use this?
liionpack takes a one-dimensional PyBaMM cell model and extends it to a battery pack. Engineers can specify pack configurations such as 16 cells in parallel and two in series, or load an electrical netlist to represent a more complex pack topology.
It is useful for battery-pack design, thermal and electrical interaction studies, pack-level performance analysis, and BMS-oriented modeling. Because it is built directly on PyBaMM, engineers retain access to physics-based cell models while studying how cell-to-cell variation, connectivity, and pack configuration affect overall behavior.
